Yoga for Cancer in Warrington and Halton

If you're living with or recovering from cancer — or supporting a loved one who is — yoga can be a supportive, grounding practice to help you reconnect with your body and find moments of peace.

I offer gentle yoga and relaxation sessions for people affected by cancer in a safe, welcoming environment, with no pressure to “keep up” or perform. Every class is tailored to meet you where you are.

Adaptations for fatigue, limited movement or treatment side effects

These sessions are all about rest, comfort, and connection — not about doing things “right.” You are welcome to move or simply rest and breathe.

You are welcome.

These yoga sessions are for anyone affected by cancer — whether you’re going through treatment, in recovery, or supporting someone you love. You don’t need any yoga experience, and you don’t need to feel a certain way physically or emotionally to come along. This is a space to simply be.

You are welcome if you are:

  • Living with or beyond cancer

  • Currently in treatment, or managing the after-effects

  • Navigating fatigue, anxiety, or changes to your body

  • Recovering after surgery or hospital care

  • Caring for someone with cancer or grieving a loss

Classes are gentle, adaptive, and always offered with choice — so you can do as little or as much as feels right. Whether you join in the movement or simply rest and listen, you’ll be met with warmth and support.

How yoga and mindful movement can help.

  • Yoga helps calm the nervous system and bring you back into the moment.

  • Breath-led movement and relaxation practices support better rest.

  • Move in ways that feel safe and manageable for your body right now.

  • Classes offer space to just be, with no pressure to perform.

Hello, I’m Kirsten

I’ve been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years and feel truly privileged to work with people affected by cancer. These classes are some of the most meaningful I’ve taught, and I’m constantly humbled by the courage and kindness I see in them.

I teach with care, compassion, and a focus on what feels right for you.

Would you like to discuss the classes? Or are you a local charity or organisation who wants to offer Yoga for Cancer classes? I’d love to support you.
