My story.
I've been practicing yoga for nearly twenty years, and feel incredibly lucky to have learned from some wonderful teachers along the way. I trained with the British Wheel of Yoga and continue to explore and grow through every class I teach — I’ll always be a student at heart.
Yoga has supported me through many chapters of life, and I'm passionate about sharing its benefits with others. I believe yoga isn’t about how a pose looks — it's about how it feels. Whether you’re joining a chair yoga class, restorative session, or a gentle Hatha flow, my aim is to create a space that’s welcoming, grounded and inclusive. I love helping people find calm, ease and connection in their own bodies — especially those who might feel like yoga isn’t “for them”.
Lately, it’s been a real privilege to support people affected by cancer. This work is close to my heart, and it's been humbling to see how yoga and stillness can offer a sense of comfort, strength and rest in challenging times.
When I’m not teaching or planning classes, I’m usually being mum to my two children, running after our very energetic dog, or dreaming of adventures. I love exploring new places — and one day, I hope to offer yoga in more far-flung corners of the world.
Thank you for being here. Whether you're new to yoga or returning to the mat, you're so welcome in my classes — just as you are…

My approach.
I teach with an emphasis on listening inward — offering options and variations so you can move (or rest) in a way that feels right for you. My classes are small, friendly and supportive, with plenty of time to slow down, breathe, and reconnect.
“Kirsten is a lovely hatha yoga teacher also excellent at restorative yoga… She has a beautiful calming approach with such a caring manner. Whether you are a complete beginner or have experience, Kirsten guides and ensures you are confident and capable every step of the way and is one of the nicest teachers you could wish for!”

Mum life:
I’m mum to two amazing kids who’ve truly taught me what life is all about — and a fur baby (my adorable time-waster) who keeps me on my toes.
Star sign: Taurus
I’m grounded, love comfort, and would rather be barefoot than in shoes any day.
Moon sign: Scorpio
A water soul at heart — I feel most alive by the sea and love going with the flow of life.
Favourite pose:
Viparita Karani (legs-up-the-wall) — a simple, soothing reset I always come back to.
Current love:
Bhakti yoga. I’m learning to play the Indian harmonium and have been joyfully exploring Kirtan. Forever a student — and loving every step of the journey.
